a. Loading and Discharging for Crude Oil and Petroleum Products

The scope of operations consist of tank inspection on ship and shore, determination of quantity of liquid cargoes on board a vessel. Essentially, the theory is that the surveyor measures the depth of free space above the liquid cargo in each tank. Then calculates, using the ship's table, the volume of liquid and then computes the volume of liquid at standard temperature and pressure.

b. Bunker Survey

Independent measurement of fuel oil tanks on board for any kind of vessel, to determine the quantity of bunker remaining on board. The oil tanks and daily oil tanks for consumption should be sounded and the weight of oil calculated from the volume in each tank, correcting the soundings and tables as required for list trim, and units. Multiply the volume found by the density to get weight in tons.

c. Liquid Cargo Sampling

To take certain small amount of the cargo which is still representing the cargo for checking the quality or specification of the cargo for reference purpose against dispute which could be arising in the future with regards to the quality

2. CHEMICAL & GAS SURVEY

The scope of inspections related to the storage, delivery at each stage of transportation on the quantity of various liquid including chemical products, organic and inorganic industrial chemicals, liquefied gases of LPG and LNG.

Kind of inspection consist of measuring, calibration inspection on cleanliness, water tightness and other tank test and quantity inspection.

b. Loading and Discharge for LNG and LPG

Liquefied Natural Gases (LNG) and Liquefied Petroleum Gases (LPG) which is one of the clean energies in the new age. The inspection is the only survey organ designated by sellers and the buyers in quantity check at the time of discharge and loading.

c. Loading and Discharge for Palm Oil

Pre shipment inspection and supervises loading and discharging operation for the Palm Oil and its various products, mostly the exported ones. The scope of works are tank inspection on ship and shore and to determine the quantity and quality of the products prior to, during and after loading or discharging.

3. MARINE SURVEY

Our Master Mariners, Marine Engineers and the Maritime fields offer the capability other specialist in to perform the following services.

a. On/Off Hire Condition of Vessel, Tug and Barge

An On/Off Hire survey will be called for at the commencement of a charter. The purpose is to list the actual condition of entire vessel or tug and barge at the commencement of the hire period in order that damage done later can be charged to the correct party.

b. Draft Survey

This is to determine the quantity of the cargo which transported in bulk such as iron ore, coal, grain, steel scrap, salt. In draft survey cargo quantities are computed based on the change of the ship's draft prior to and after the loading or discharging by using the scales or table which equipped on board the vessel.

c. Port Captaincy

The scope of work for Port Captaincy Comprises of PreShipment Inspection, Stowage plan for loading, discharging and rendering services as advisor to Ships Master.

This is to ascertain the extent of damage usually following accident, investigate and also the cause, and, if necessary, estimate the repair costs. This service is also valid to conduct on the spot survey on damage to loading equipment, ship, cargo caused by an accident during loading or unloading and to estimate the amount of loss.

f. Pre Purchase Condition

Superficial of vessels offered for sale / purchase to determine general condition of hull and machinery, or otherwise of purchase or mortgage or insurance purpose.

g. P & I Entry

To check the vessel's condition when applying to be the member of a certain Protection & Indemnity Organization. This job is done at the safety equipment, fire fighting appliances, machineries and equipment, hull structure, navigation equipment for various interested parties.

h. Tank Calibration

To determine the volume tanks of the vessel, barge of goods is applicable on cargo and shore tanks. Measurement is carried out by using the tanks data. This convenient method is universally adapted as the most efficient and reliable way of measuring the tank volume, when reaching large amount.

i. Cargo Hold Cleanliness

Usually conducted before loading certain cargo, to check whether the hold space is clean, dry and suitable to be loaded by the intended cargo.

j. Tank Cleanliness

To check and ensure that the tank is clean, dry, ready and fit for the intended liquid cargo, so that the liquid cargo will not be damaged or contaminated by other substance. Also to recommend the cleaning process and procedures, if necessary.

4. GENERAL CARGO SURVEY

Our Master Mariners, Marine Engineers and other specialist in the Maritime fields offer the capability to perform the following services.

a. Tally & Condition

To check accurately the quantity of the cargo by way of counting every sling or truck or whatever movement of the goods whether during loading, unloading, or transfer from one place to another. In the same time, condition of the cargo or bag or package is inspected, to ascertain whether there is any damage or quality discrepancy.

b. Container Inspection

Inspection for ascertaining the physical condition of the container. They may be packed badly at some inland depot. Theft may occur long before, or long after the sea passage. And damage my be due to a damaged container, but the surveyor may well not be called in until after the goods are out of the box and the box is on its way somewhere else.

c. Inspection for Cargo Quantity and it's Condition during Stuffing into or Unstuffing from its Container

This survey is covering to conform of the container seal, packaging condition, marks, numbers, of the goods at the time of devanning of the container, quantity and visual condition of the contents, and if necessary survey report is prepared for the respective purpose of delivery, insurance or shipper claim or customs clearance.

d. Pre Shipment or Pre Loading Condition

To determine the condition of the goods and its packages, whether it is complying with the sales contract or normal practice of transportation, before they are shipped or loaded into the vessels or other transportation vehicles.

e. Weightment and Measurement

Measurement is carried out when volume of the goods is applicable, otherwise weighment will be conducted. The practice is also done in line with checking the kind, shape, condition, shipping mark, case number of the cargo with the relative shipping documents and further, to certify the cubic measurement and gross weight of the cargo.

f. Break bulk, Opening Seals / Unsealing

Break bulk surveys covering the inspection of the hatch and top most cargo on board the vessel. first opening the cargo holds to check whether the cargo stowage as well as maintenance of the cargo during the sea passage was going well, before the cargo is discharged.

Opening seals / unsealing is also inspection before discharge, but from the containers to check whether the seals are still intact or in good condition, or damaged by other party.

g. Condition of or Damage to Cargo
